Grip is the limiting factor on a heavy deadlift, a dead hang, or a pull-up progression long before the rest of the body is. A $15–$25 grip strengthener closes that gap for pennies and a few minutes a day. The category is wide — crushing grippers, finger isolation trainers, wrist rollers, therapy-grade rehab grippers — and the listings need a buyer-side filter to keep the wrong device from ending up under the work you actually train.

- A therapy-grade low-resistance variant available in the listing family for buyers returning from injury — the rehab path is part of the shelf, not a separate search.

What to look for
- A defect window published as months or years, not as "contact seller for warranty" — the listings that go through the contact-seller route are the same listings that lose buyer trust at the failure point.
- A replacement-or-refund story published alongside the defect window so a buyer who cracks a frame in the first six weeks knows the recovery path before they hit the failure.
- Listing copy that separates the rehab variant from the strength variant clearly in the title — buyers returning from injury and buyers chasing PR grip strength aren't the same buyer, and the listing should make that distinction before click.
